Bloc Party "Funeral", "Silent Alarm" e "X&Y" migliori album del 2005 per UNCUT, NME e Q 6/12/2005 di Fredo Cane

Come ogni anno, a dicembre si iniziano a fare i consuntivi. E anche per la pop-music è arrivato il momento di giudicare qual è stato il disco più importante, più emozionante, più eccitante del 2005.
La prima a pubblicare la propria poll del "best of 2005" è stata a inizio mese l'autorevole rivista britannica Uncut - in realtà una costola del New musical Express - che ha eletto sul podio "The Funeral" degli Arcade Fire (disco che, però, fu effettivamente pubblicato negli USA nel 2004, tanto da vincere lo scorso anno il poll della e-zine Pitchfork), riservando un premio speciale a "The Glasgow School" degli scozzesi Orange Juice come migliore ristampa.
